How Endorsed AI closed by working day 5 after moving to Flare.

Endorsed AI crossed $1 million in ARR with the monthly close still on Pilot, and a finance person still on the team. Flare took the bookkeeping and the tax.

01 · At a glance

A $1M+ ARR business, with the month still in-house.

Endorsed AI designs, builds and runs AI-powered revenue systems for B2B technology companies: the outbound engine, and the RevOps underneath it. The company is in the United States. Flare runs the bookkeeping and the tax.

They passed $1 million in annual recurring revenue while the books were still on Pilot, in QuickBooks. A close took 3 weeks and a finance person on the team was still the one turning the ledger into something management could read.

02 · The challenge

Pilot delivered books. Endorsed still had to explain them.

On Pilot, the close took 3 weeks. When the QuickBooks file arrived, the work started inside the company. Someone had to pull the month together. Variance and KPI reporting was not part of what the management team received with the close, so spend could run over budget without them seeing it.

Tax sat next to that work, on a separate pass. At $1 million in ARR the cost was obvious: a finance seat spent on the company's own books, and a management team waiting on a pack that should have come with the close.

“We used Pilot.com previously but thankfully we found Flare who have dramatically sped up closing our monthly books, last month this took less than a week.”

03 · The engagement

Flare took over the books and tax.

Endorsed moved the US bookkeeping and the tax to Flare. One team now closes the month, sends management the pack, and files from the same books.

The month closes on working day 5

Flare finishes the books in QuickBooks by the fifth working day: the P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, reconciled and ready. On Pilot that same close had taken 3 weeks.

Management gets the pack with the close

Variance and KPI reports are available directly to the Endorsed management team each month from the Flare Client Dashboard. Thanks to Flare's Variance Analysis inside the Dashboard, management caught a jump in AI token spend. Anthropic had been stable at $5,000 a month, however, in July 2026 it jumped to $30,000.

Tax is filed from those same books

US bookkeeping and tax sit with one firm. The return is prepared from the ledger Flare already closed, rather than from a second pass over the year.

  4. 04

The in-house finance role came off

Once the time required on their own books dropped, Endorsed removed the finance person who had been carrying the month. That saved the team $50K+ and the headcount was not replaced.

04 · The impact

The close is on day 5. The finance seat is gone.
